This exclusive Dépendances cheese is made from pasteurized cow's milk and brushed with a beer from Quebec.
The Tomme à la bière is one of a kind, and it was in collaboration with Fritz Kaiser that we were able to create the product. The cheese is matured for 6 to 8 weeks. Weekly cares included frequent turning and washing.
Its rind is orange and an its paste is ivory with small openings. Its texture is supple and melting.
FLAVOR: This cheese offers slightly fruity notes, but their delicacy doesn't conflict with the cheese's delicious, straightforward taste.
HOW TO TASTE IT: It's perfect on a platter and a superb addition to your favorite recipes, as it's also excellent when melted.
Pair it with a beer with a pronounced bitterness or a Pinot Grigio.
