The Bois Blond is based on the Mont d'Or. But this cheese is sold all year long and is more affordable, which makes it an excellent every day product.
It's made from pasturized cow's milk and has a mixed rind. Its paste is ivory, smooth and even.
FLAVOR : It releases interesting notes of butter and hazelnuts. Its flavor is mild and lightly fruity.
HOW TO ENJOY : Serve it preferably lightly heated in its box, in the oven, until its paste is hot and runny. To be eaten with a spoon, on dried Grison or ham, with potatoes and pickles.
A Riesling goes very well with it.
