Made and selected in Haute-Savoie region under IGP label, raclette de Savoie Haute-Montagne is produced according to the specifications and then matured for about 8 weeks.
Made from raw cow's milk, raclette de Savoie offers a range of complex flavors that gives it its unique character. The texture is supple and the paste smooth to ensure a good melting.
FLAVOR: Although its taste is long in the mouth and more intense when melted, raclette de Savoie Haute-Montagne is a cheese offering delicate floral and slightly animal notes.
HOW TO TASTE IT: Sliced in sandwiches, melted over potatoes and served with cooked meats and in all kinds of gratins. It pairs well with Gamay or a Mondeuse or Chignin (white) from the same region.
