Made in Savoie by cheesemaker Chabert and possessing the PGI label since 2017, it is produced according to French traditions and is aged for 8 weeks.
Made from cow's raw milk, this cheese is of high quality and offers complex flavours that give it its unique character. The texture is supple but relatively firm and the paste is speckled with small holes.
FLAVOUR: It has a long finish and the flavour is more pronounced when melted. Raclette Savoyarde is a cheese that offers delicate floral notes.
HOW TO SAVOUR: In slices on sandwiches or melted on potatoes and served with cooked meat. This cheese, like most raclette cheeses, can be used in a multitude of recipes.
