The Verdannet family cheese dairy was founded by Ernest Verdannet in 1904. Also known as Fromagerie La Tournette, it is the oldest cheese-making business in Hautes-Savoie. For five generations, it has been passing down its unique expertise while honoring tradition and the local terroir.
Fleur des Alpes is a soft cheese with a washed rind. Similar to Reblochon, this cheese made from pasteurized cow’s milk is renowned for its creamy texture and mild flavor.
FLAVOR: Deliciously nutty and creamy, with a slight floral note.
HOW TO ENJOY IT: This cheese is often used in cooking, particularly in tartiflette, thanks to its creaminess.
