Rockflower is a unique Swiss cheese, produced by the Cooperative of L'Etivaz producers. Located in the alpine pastures of the Vaud Prealps and Alps, its name is from the yellow alpine flowers, the "Fluehblüemli" (Primula auricula), which grow in the limestone rocks of the Swiss Prealps. It is made from raw cow's milk, coming from local farms, and aged for at least ten months.

FLAVOR: It offers complex notes of cream, umami, pine nuts, and hazelnut. Its rich and earthy flavor leaves a lasting impression.
HOW TO ENJOY: Rockflower can be enjoyed as an appetizer, at the end of a meal, or incorporated into recipes like gratins and fondues. Its versatility makes it an ideal cheese for all occasions. Take it out of the refrigerator about an hour before serving to allow its flavors to fully develop.
To enhance Rockflower, it is recommended to pair it with dry and fruity white wines, such as Riesling. This wine perfectly complements the creamy and umami notes of the cheese. For those who prefer red wines, a light Pinot Noir is also an excellent option.
