La Quesera (meaning The Cheesemaker in Spanish) is an exclusive brand from Les Dépendances, born from a collaboration with two carefully selected producers. This cheese is crafted in the heart of the prestigious La Mancha region in Spain, world-renowned for its iconic Manchego.
Made from pasteurized sheep’s milk, rich and authentic, it stands out for its earthy notes and silky texture, resulting in a pure, distinctive white paste that reflects the natural richness of sheep’s milk. The milk is sourced from local sheep and transformed using traditional artisanal know-how.
Aged for a minimum of four months, the cheese is then coated with rosemary, releasing fresh, woody aromas.
Flavors: The delicate, characteristic notes of sheep’s milk harmonize beautifully with the camphor-like and lightly citrusy accents of rosemary.
How to Enjoy: Ideal on a cheese board, alongside other varieties from the range, this cheese is also perfect cut into cubes for snacking or incorporated into your favorite Spanish recipes. Its attractive paste and colors make it a standout for presentation.
It pairs wonderfully with olives and is best enjoyed with a Spanish Rioja wine, red or white.
