Cheddar Le Silo 59e Parallèle
Wednesday, February 17, 2021 by Amélie
The Silo 59e Parallèle is made in the far north of Scotland in a cheesemaking facility in the Orkney archipelago located closed to the Artic Circle on the 59th parallel. Neighbor of a famous whisky distillery it is certainly the most northerly of the Scottish cheese production.
The Orkney Islands enjoy a temperate climate and are exposed to constant winds and numerous storms.
The recipe used to make this Silo 59th is the one of the Orkney Swannay farm, which has made cheddar for half a century. Among the specificities of this cheese is the maturing of each 19 kg block in a wooden box.
Lovers of English cheddar will find in this Silo 59th the typical aroma of cellars, a perfectly smooth texture and a remarkable taste persistency which invites to pair it with a lager beer or even better with a Scottish malt whiskey.

Groix & Nature, France
Thursday, January 28, 2021 by Amélie
The contact with this company took very unexpected detours. A customer from Calgary discovered the Groix & Nature products in a famous Parisian grocery store. She sent us a picture of the range and expressed her interest in us importing it.
To our astonishment we realized that the company was located on Groix island off the small Briton town where Lucie has her roots. A first meeting on the island with Marianne Guyader, general manager, convinced us that we share the same values such as the valorization of high-quality artisanal products.
We have chosen to include in our assortment the Rillettes of salmon, sardines, and other fish or crustacean which are an excellent addition on a platter of cheese and charcuterie as well as the lobster oil which is ideal to enhance your dishes such as pasta or fish.

Artisanal British cheeses - United Kingdom
Monday, June 22, 2020 by Amélie
Thanks to our close relationship with the two long established and renowned British affineurs, The Fine Cheese Company and Neal's Yard Dairy, we are privileged to have access to the very best of the artisan British cheeses.
Both companies work very closely and respectfully with the cheesemakers having their own specific recipe and affinage. Both have dedicated teams to give a constant care and attention to each single wheel and they are doing a strict selection to offer the best flavour profile the final customer is looking for.
